Since 2013, Azad Foundation Society has been committed to transforming lives by addressing the social, educational, economic, and legal challenges faced by vulnerable communities. Women Empowerment

Women Empowerment is the cornerstone of Azad Foundation Society’s mission. We work with women from economically weaker and socially marginalized backgrounds by providing vocational training, entrepreneurship support, financial literacy, leadership development, legal awareness, health education, counselling, and rehabilitation services.
Through Mission Shakti campaigns, community awareness programmes, self-employment initiatives, and government scheme linkages, we have helped thousands of women become financially independent and socially confident. Our efforts focus on ensuring that every woman has the opportunity to live with dignity, equality, and economic security.

Livelihood & Skill Development

Skills That Create Sustainable Futures

For more than fourteen years, Azad Foundation Society has been operating Vocational Training Centres dedicated to empowering women, girls, youth, and economically weaker communities.

We provide professional training in Dress Designing, Tailoring, Beautician & Wellness, Computer Education, Handicrafts, Digital Literacy, Personality Development, Entrepreneurship, and Adult Education.

After completing training, beneficiaries are connected with government livelihood schemes, financial institutions, self-help groups, market linkages, and bank-supported entrepreneurship opportunities.

To date, more than 15,000 women and girls have been empowered through our skill development programmes, enabling them to achieve financial independence and long-term livelihood security.

Prisoner Rehabilitation

Giving Every Individual a Second Chance

Since 2015, Azad Foundation Society has been actively working with District Jail Aligarh and has expanded its rehabilitation initiatives to Etah, Banda, and Firozabad District Jails.
Our rehabilitation model includes vocational training, health camps, physiotherapy services, legal awareness programmes, counselling, motivational workshops, entrepreneurship guidance, financial literacy, cultural activities, environmental awareness campaigns, and celebrations of International Women’s Day, Raksha Bandhan, and Eid to promote emotional well-being and social reintegration.
Our goal is to restore confidence, dignity, and hope, enabling prison inmates-especially women-to rebuild their lives and successfully reintegrate into society after release.

Restoring Dignity Through Opportunity

Azad Foundation Society supports women who wish to leave commercial sexual exploitation by helping them rebuild their lives with dignity and independence.

Our rehabilitation approach includes confidential counselling, legal guidance, vocational training, livelihood support, entrepreneurship development, health awareness, financial inclusion, and social reintegration. We work closely with government departments, police administration, and rehabilitation agencies to help survivors access welfare schemes, employment opportunities, and a safe, dignified future.

SHGs & Community Development

Building Strong Communities from the Grassroots

We promote community participation through the formation and strengthening of Self-Help Groups (SHGs), women’s collectives, and community-based organizations.

Our programmes focus on financial literacy, savings, entrepreneurship, income generation, rural livelihoods, leadership development, digital awareness, and government scheme convergence. By strengthening local leadership, we help communities become self-reliant and economically resilient.

POSH & ICC Training

Creating Safe and Respectful Workplaces

Azad Foundation Society actively promotes safe, inclusive, and harassment-free workplaces through awareness and capacity-building programmes under the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act, 2013.

We organize training programmes for government departments, educational institutions, corporate organizations, industries, NGOs, and Internal Committees (ICCs). Our sessions cover legal compliance, gender sensitivity, complaint mechanisms, workplace ethics, prevention strategies, and employee rights, helping organizations build respectful and legally compliant work environments.

Our programmes support school enrolment, adult literacy, digital education, personality development, career guidance, scholarship awareness, life skills education, and educational support for children and women from disadvantaged communities.

Azad Foundation Society works towards creating an inclusive society where persons with disabilities have equal opportunities to learn, earn, and lead.

In collaboration with the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of Uttar Pradesh, we provide vocational training, entrepreneurship support, digital literacy, government scheme facilitation, disability certification assistance, exhibition opportunities, product marketing, and recognition programmes that encourage confidence and financial independence.

Azad Foundation Society promotes India’s rich cultural heritage through traditional arts, handicrafts, exhibitions, cultural festivals, women artisan promotion, and skill preservation programmes.

By connecting artisans with exhibitions and markets, we help preserve traditional crafts while creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for local communities.

Health & Nutrition

Healthy Communities, Stronger Nation

Our health programmes include medical camps, physiotherapy services, cancer awareness campaigns, nutrition education, maternal and child health initiatives, preventive healthcare, disease prevention, sanitation awareness, blood donation drives, and emergency health support.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Foundation actively supported affected families through medical assistance, oxygen and ICU coordination, medicine distribution, ration support, counselling, and humanitarian relief. We also led a landmark cancer prevention initiative in Ghazipur village, Aligarh, with leading medical specialists, helping identify environmental causes and spreading life-saving awareness.

Justice Begins with Awareness

Azad Foundation Society empowers citizens by increasing awareness of constitutional rights, women’s rights, child protection laws, domestic violence legislation, cyber safety, senior citizen rights, legal aid services, consumer protection, and access to justice.

Through legal literacy camps, counselling, community workshops, Mission Shakti programmes, and partnerships with legal institutions and police administration, we help vulnerable individuals understand their rights, access government support, and seek justice with confidence.
