Azad Foundation Society Aligarh

Transforming Lives. Empowering Communities. Building a Better Tomorrow.

For more than a decade, Azad Foundation Society has been working at the grassroots level to create sustainable social change. Our programmes focus on empowering women, children, persons with disabilities, prison inmates, marginalized communities, and economically weaker families through education, skill development, healthcare, legal awareness, rehabilitation, counselling, and livelihood opportunities.

Every initiative is designed to restore dignity, inspire confidence, and create self-reliant communities. Working hand in hand with Government Departments, Police Administration, Judiciary, Educational Institutions, Financial Institutions, and Corporate Partners, we believe that true development begins when every individual is given an equal opportunity to succeed.

Prisoner Rehabilitation & Reintegration Programme

“Every Person Deserves a Second Chance.”

Since 2015, Azad Foundation Society has been working continuously with District Jail Aligarh to transform the lives of prison inmates, especially women prisoners. Our belief is simple—punishment should never end a person’s opportunity to rebuild life.

Over the years, we have successfully organized numerous rehabilitation initiatives, including:

* Vocational Skill Development Programmes
* Health & Physiotherapy Camps
* Mental Health & Motivational Sessions
* Legal Awareness Camps
* Entrepreneurship Development Workshops
* Financial Literacy Sessions
* International Women’s Day Celebrations
* Raksha Bandhan & Eid Social Integration Programmes
* Cultural Activities & Exhibitions
* Environmental Awareness under the Reduce • Reuse • Recycle Campaign

Our rehabilitation model focuses on helping inmates develop employable skills, rebuild confidence, improve mental well-being, and prepare for a dignified return to society after release.

The Foundation has also conducted rehabilitation and motivational programmes in Etah, Banda, and Firozabad District Jails, encouraging women inmates to become financially independent through vocational training and self-employment.

Our objective is not merely rehabilitation-but restoring hope, confidence, dignity, and purpose.

Vocational Training Centres

“From Skill to Self-Reliance.”

For the past 14 years, Azad Foundation Society has been successfully operating Women Vocational Training Centres across Aligarh, Ghazipur, Varanasi, Sambhal, Bijnor, Nehtaur, Kiratpur, Delhi, and is expanding into Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, and Maharashtra.

These centres are dedicated exclusively to women and girls who were forced to discontinue their education due to financial hardship, social barriers, early marriage, or family responsibilities.

Our training programmes include:

* Fashion Designing & Tailoring
* Beautician & Wellness Training
* Computer Education & Digital Literacy
* Handicrafts & Creative Arts
* Adult Education
* Personality Development
* Entrepreneurship & Business Development
* Financial Literacy & Career Counselling

Beyond providing technical skills, we guide beneficiaries towards sustainable employment by connecting them with Government livelihood schemes, bank-linked self-employment loans, entrepreneurship opportunities, and market linkages.

To date, more than 15,000 women and girls have been empowered through our vocational training initiatives, enabling them to achieve financial independence, restore confidence, and become contributors to their families and society.

Our vision extends beyond training—we create entrepreneurs, community leaders, and independent women capable of transforming future generations.
