Thousands of passengers travel every day by train and bus. In crowded public places, unsuspecting travellers can sometimes become victims of Zehar Khurani and other forms of travel-related crime.
To create greater public awareness, Azad Foundation Society organised a Nukkad Natak at Aligarh Railway Station in association with RPF, using street theatre to communicate safety messages in a simple, memorable and engaging manner.
Through the campaign, the public was encouraged to:
* Remain alert while travelling
* Avoid accepting food or drinks from strangers
* Protect personal belongings and valuables
* Be cautious when interacting with unknown persons
* Immediately seek help from railway authorities/RPF when necessary
Impact
Awareness → Alertness → Safer Travel
